We’re passionate about keeping our community thriving, and that all starts with coming together. So if you need an empty space for a queer robot building workshop, a vegan feast to celebrate a milestone birthday, or a big knees up for the whole family, the Black Cat has got you covered!

Cost
Hire of the space only - £68 per hour or £388 for 6 hours
Hire of space with bar - £68 per hour or £388 for 6 hours plus £200 min spend on bar
Hire time must include set up and pack down.
A refundable security deposit may be required depending on the type of event.

Food
For hires with up to10 people, we allow guests to pre-order from our vegan main menu.
For larger groups and non-seated meals, we can provide a vegan buffet made up of small bites and big bowls to share. These dishes will be tailored to the amount of guests you have and your food budget.
We ask that no external food or drink is brought into the venue.

The Space:
Seating capacity: 42
Standing capacity: 60
1 x toilet (with baby change)
Sound system (with bluetooth connection)
Tables and chairs can be moved on request
Access: There is a10cm step at the front door. We have a fold up ramp we can put out for when you arrive. We have one gender neutral bathroom, we do not currently have a hand rail in place.
Terms & Conditions of Hiring Our Space
You must be over 18 to book. We may ask you to send a photo of your ID when booking as proof of age.
Person who books must also attend the event
Full payment is required to confirm your booking
We are happy to offer a full refund of your hire fee up to 48 hours before event, however pre-ordered food is non-refundable less than 2 weeks before an event.
We recommend booking with a minimum of 2 weeks notice, especially if you require catering and bar.
Our alcohol license is until 10pm (it can be extended to 11pm for fee of £40)
